For last night’s art group. Tutor brought in nasturtiums and with some prompts from her I am pretty pleased with my watercolour effort. She always paints in the darkest areas first as a guide and I think this has worked really well for me on this occasion.
Nasturtium are little gems from the new world brought back to Europe by the Spanish in the late fifteen hundreds. One of my all time favourite annuals in the garden (easy to grow and useful in the kitchen !) The mild late autumn and mine are still flowering prolifically.
