Roll on summer . . .

I was scanning through photos of some of my art work from last year and decided to post this up.  Affirmation that we do have warm and sunny days – not just snow and rain!  This time last year the swallows had just returned.  I think it may be a while until they fly in this year.

I love foxgloves, as do the bees. They make such a bold and glorious show of colour and we get lots of them round the farm here on the banks, brightening the fields margins. I have grown all white ones in the garden, but they seem to have vanished of late.  I really should get some more seed…
