We will remember them…

 

My community’s tribute to the fallen of WW1.  Weeks of communal poppy making and crafting by all age groups within the  parish to put this memorial together.  On Sunday night we will light a Beacon; as part of a nationwide chain of light.

    Such a beautiful tribute. We have 62000 knitted and crotcheted poppies on the lawns surrounding our national war museum and memorial.

      Yes. it has been a whole hearted success -all the parish has been poppy making: ,plus my other contribution was the painted hanging.
