Working hard . . . . .

Talgarth

Sorting pictures, frames and cards ready for a crafts exhibition next Saturday. It has been quite hard work in between various commitments and preparing for and entertaining visitors. On and off I still get a bit of pain from the fracture, especially when I get tired. I have had a physio assessment, but they deem it too early for an exercise programme – so light duties only for some weeks yet.

I did do a small pen and wash panorama of a near-by village to fit a particular long, narrow frame, but I am not very happy with it as it was bit to small to work on comfortably. One for experience! If I have time before Saturday I will have a go at something else.

Miraculously, the sun came out last Saturday and the village show went ahead very successfully – only minus the horse classes due to the proceeding days of rain. GOS and I had a great afternoon down on the showground ; made even better by my win on the bottle stall!

I had two seconds in the Art and Craft section. Below is my entry for the pencil sketch class; Simmental cows from the field across the road.

Enough chatter……. packing cards into cellophane ….. tonight’s task …..
